Paul Major, Broker In Charge
|
|
Paul Major, is a 1973 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. Paul has been a professional forestry consultant since 1985 and worked for eleven years prior to that with the forest industry. He is a Registered Forester in North and South Carolina and is also licensed as a South Carolina Real Estate Broker and as a South Carolina Certified General Real Estate Appraiser — a designation few foresters possess. Paul earned the "ACF" designation of the Association of Consulting Foresters (ACF) in 1991 and has served as the Chairman of the South Carolina Chapter of the ACF. He also holds the “Certified Forester” designation of the Society of American Foresters (SAF). Paul holds membership in a number of other professional organizations, including the South Carolina Forestry Association; Foresters Council of South Carolina (1998-2001); Forest Landowners Association; and landowner associations in Newberry, Saluda, and Union Counties of South Carolina.

David Boone, Forestry Consultant
|
|
David E. Boone, a native of Aiken, South Carolina, joined Major & Company in 2004 after ten years of employment in the forest industry and two years as a forestry consultant. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management from Clemson University in 1990. David is a Registered Forester in both South Carolina and Georgia, a South Carolina Certified Prescribed Fire Manager and a Licensed Real Estate Salesman in South Carolina. He is a member of the Society of American Foresters, the South Carolina Forestry Association, and the Newberry County Landowners Association. Among his many duties, David is also responsible for the firm's GIS and GPS mapping operations.

Robert (Bob) Harkins, Wildlife Biologist
|
After serving for twelve years as a Wildlife Technician and nineteen years as a Wildlife Biologist, Bob Harkins recently retired from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. In his years at SC-DNR, Harkins was responsible for implementing quail management techniques, establishing waterfowl impoundments, and developing wildlife management plans for deer, turkey, quail, dove, and waterfowl. He is well known to South Carolina duck hunters for his development and management of DNR’s Broad River Waterfowl Area.
With Major & Company, Harkins is putting years of expertise to work helping landowners to maximize the numbers and quality of wildlife on their property. In addition to developing wildlife management plans for landowners, he also specializes in the designing, planting and maintaining effective wildlife food plots, dove fields, and waterfowl management areas.

Ann Moseley, Office Administrator, Sales Associate

Ann is a native of Laurens County, South Carolina, but has lived in Newberry since she moved here to attend Newberry College. After graduating from Newberry College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration in 1984, Ann worked in a number of administrative and sales positions before joining Major & Company in 2006. She serves as Office Manager and doubles as the GIS mapping specialist. Ann is also a SC Licensed Real Estate Salesman. Her focus is residential property, but her first love in real estate is historic homes. Ann and her husband have three children. Their entire family is active in church music as well as in the Newberry Community Players, the local community theater.
